Impact
Cheaper connectivity, by design.
Most of what a connection costs in Africa is not the fibre. It is the duplication around it: parallel cables, parallel systems, parallel operations teams. Our work is to take those costs out, so that operators can reach more people for the same money.
Three outcomes we work for
Lower cost per subscriber
One licensed platform replaces the separate billing, CRM, NOC, device-management and support tools an operator would otherwise buy and integrate. It is priced per subscriber, so the operator's overhead per customer falls as the network grows.
Infrastructure built once
Open-access fibre is built once and leased to many providers. One cable and one closure on a pole replace five. Capital goes into extending reach, not into building the same route again.
Plant that stays cheap
Every closure documented, every pole audited, every serial number accounted for, and optical levels watched from the NOC. Faults are found and fixed faster, and the network keeps its value.
Where we work
Our platforms are operating live in over 10 countries in Africa. We build for how networks here run: mobile money for payments, PPPoE access, shared poles and county wayleaves.
How this maps to the UN Sustainable Development Goals
SDG 9.c: Affordable access to the internet
Lower operating and build costs let providers price connections for more households and businesses.
SDG 9.1: Quality, resilient infrastructure
Shared, documented and monitored plant is more reliable and cheaper to keep running.
SDG 17.8: Enabling technology
Software built for African operators puts carrier-grade operations within reach of small and mid-sized ISPs.
SDG 17.17: Effective partnerships
Open access works only through partnership: one network owner, many providers, one shared standard.
How we measure
We track impact through what our platforms record: connections served per operator, the cost to serve a subscriber, fault-to-fix times and the share of support handled without an agent. We will publish figures here as they are audited.
